Mission Statement

Hampton University College of Virginia Beach is a satellite campus of Hampton University that, like the main campus, is dedicated to the promotion of learning, building character, and preparing learners for positions of leadership and service. In a small college environment, but with large university resources, Hampton University College of Virginia Beach offers a range of undergraduate degree programs to include Nursing, Hotel/Resort Management and graduate degree programs in Education. It is a self-contained campus where learners are able to complete all program requirements.

Hampton University College of Virginia Beach is a nurturing and holistic environment in which learners are given individual attention. Internally, learners have the opportunity to immerse themselves in state-of-the-art technology and research methods in order to master their discipline. Externally, learners master real-world concepts through interactive, hands-on projects. Learners, faculty, and staff extend these experiences by engaging the local community through clinicals, internships, externships, and community service programs. Degree programs and extra-curricular activities provide learners substantial opportunities to acquire and enhance leadership skill and ability.
