Food Service Manager Re-Certification

This four hour course is presented in one Monday evening session (unless scheduled otherwise) each month and provides a review of essential rules and requirements as well as updates on local policies and regulations for previously certified managers who need to renew their certification. Students will be prepared to take the re-certification exam, which will be given at the end of the class. Upon passage of the certification examination, participants will be re-certified with the health department as Food Service Sanitation Manager and will receive the Food Service Manger's Certificate, which is valid for three years from the time issued. Students must have English language proficiency, both in speaking and writing, as a prerequisite for enrollment for this course.

Tuition: $90 (Proof of current Food Service Manager Certification required with registration)

Payment: Students may pay the registration fee by cash, money order, Visa or MasterCard, American Express, or Discover. Company checks are accepted but Personal Checks are not accepted. Payments are made payable to Hampton University.

All classes will be held at the Hampton University College of Virginia Beach located at 253 Town Center Drive in Virginia Beach. This site is located near the intersection of Central Park Ave. and Virginia Beach Blvd.. A map and directions are available contact page. Parking is available in the public parking garage accessible from 253Town Center Drive or Central Park Ave between levels 5-9 (daily parking). Take the north elevator to the 10th floor. The classes are held in room # 1011.
